Grater Plate: Tips & Tricks
How to use your grater plate!
For things like ginger root and garlic - we recommend getting the grating dish slightly wet before grating.
For dry spices (nutmeg, cinnamon), hard cheeses, & chocolate - make sure the grating dish is completely dry before grating.
Parmesan & Other Hard Cheeses: Tilt the plate sideways and grate back and forth above your spaghetti, garlic bread, etc. Everyone can grate their own cheese over their plates!
Use back and forth as well as circular motions to get the most efficient grating results.
Use a small pastry or basting brush to gather your grated food out of the textured design if transferring to another vessel.
